My dad said there was somthing important he needed to do today. We all got dressed up. I wore my bee dress, Dad and my cousin Dalton wore ties. We went out to the cemetery, Dad and Dalton played taps for the Veterans that had given the ultimate sacrifice to our country. Dad said it's important and right that we do this. We would not have the freedoms we have today if those that had gone before us did not fight for what was right.
.
Iasked how long Dalton had been doing this? Dad said it was his first year and that he did a great job and that it was greatly appreciated. Then I asked dad how long he had been doing this? He told me he was a little older than Dalton when he started and that he would continue as long as he was able.
